Oliver Johner has been working for BHP - Brugger and Partners Ltd. since 2002. He focuses on topics such as corporate responsibility or resource management.

From February 2007 to July 2009, Oliver Johner was seconded to the United Nations Global Compact Office in New York. Oliver managed the "Communication on Progress" (requirement to annually report on progress in implementing the Global Compact principles), supported businesses in improving their reporting, and represented the Global Compact Office in projects on reporting on human rights, the environment, or anti-corruption.
